I’m Kathryn, but my friends call me Katie. I’m a wife to my college sweetheart, and together we built a life in Charlotte, North Carolina. I can’t wait to tell you the story one day of how we ended up here, because God’s hand was so evident through it all. 

I’m a mom to Benjamin, a sweet, energetic boy who has never met a stranger he couldn’t befriend or an adventure he couldn’t tackle and Emma, my precious girl who has attempted to take home every animal she’s met, and loves to be her brother’s co-adventurer.

I’m a former journalism major who first wanted to write words when I was six years old and asked Santa for “book making supplies.” My love of words brought me to a job as a newspaper editor covering city government, as a director of content for a marketing agency, a COMPEL Training staff member at Proverbs 31 Ministries, and lastly, as a writer and book marketing specialist serving authors and publishers.

These days, I’m combining my  greatest loves: God and His Word, putting pen to paper, my beloved family, and encouraging and equipping women to love God and their families well.
